Although this ultimately depends on the type of mortgage you are applying for, you will need:
- At least three months’ pay slips and your latest P60
- Alternatively, if you are self-employed – your accounts and latest tax calculations with matching tax year overviews for the last 2 years
- Personal bank statements for the last three months
- Passport or driving licence (for identity purposes)
- Utility bill or annual tax bill from the last three months (for identity purposes)
Your mortgage advisor will let you know if any other documentation is needed for application, for example, if you claim universal credit or are retired with a pension.
