Life insurance covers death and terminal illness with a life expectancy of less than 12 months, for as long as you are covered by the policy.
Yes, if you have chosen increasing cover or you make changes to your existing policy.
If you cancel your policy, you won’t be entitled to any money back that you may have already paid and you will no longer be covered.
Most insurance policies can be amended, however this may increase your monthly premiums, so make sure you can afford the payments before committing to a higher amount. Some insurers may let you extend the life of your policy. Please ask one of our advisors for details.
Most insurers will not cover suicide or intentional death or injury for the first year of the policy. It’s always important to check the terms of your agreement before signing.
